I loved reading this interview! As an aging brother of her great grandmother, I am especially thrilled and proud to see the sincere interest and empathy Shivani has towards nature and how she is using her unique brilliant talents to make others aware and appreciate the importance of the natural beauty around us - particularly during these difficult times of ‘ disconnect between human world and environment’ , as she says.
I wish her great success and enjoyment in all her endeavors.
vkpai, thank you for your comment. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed reading the interview! The work Shivani is doing is so important, and I join you in wishing her great success and enjoyment in all her endeavors. Fortunately, she's well on her way!
I really was excited that Shivani spoke of the culture consciousness that her homeland is experiencing and how she hope to influence that by her visuals. Her bird photos reminded me of the variety of birds each ecosystem supports.
So glad to hear that! I found her thoughts on how nature, culture, and art intertwine really interesting, too.
And yes, the variation is tremendous. Even near where I live, we predictably get certain birds on our forested hillside, and a completely different set near a wetland that's a quarter mile away. Right now it's migration season, so there's even more variation and activity!
That's some amazing passion seen on your canvas Shivani! So excited to see more of your work in future!

Love the bird walk sketches! So simple and so evocative!
I agree. There's a lot packed into that sketch, and it still feels playful and engaging!
